Gracie Update-15 months

Hello everyone!
Here is the latest and greatest on Gracie. Of course, she turned 15 months old on April 14th and we had her 15 month check up with Dr. Kovacs scheduled for the 30th (it takes forever to get in to those doctor's offices!). She weights 22.8 lbs. and is 30.5 inches now! Such a big girl. She did have to have a couple shots, which she proceeded to tell the whole office about. Alex and I agree that it wasn't so much that they hurt her, but that we had to restrain her while the nurse was giving them. Temper, Temper, Temper! She definitely gets it honest though. Although I am happy to say, age has given me a better grip on things! :-)
Dr. Kovacs also gave us a prescription for Zyrtec for her allergies. It looks like that is one of the very few things she got from me, my seasonal allergies. The pollen has made her miserable, poor baby. We're kinda still waiting to see if it makes any difference but on a good note, she did sleep through the night last night...in her CRIB!! All night! Alex had to get up and check on her this morning when the alarm went off for me to go to work. She was curled up in a little ball with her blankie sleeping so peacefully. Maybe this is the start of a new habit...well its a nice thought anyway. But Dr. Kovacs was very impressed with her "advanced" level of skills. The fact that she has a pretty good vocabulary already and that she is very coordinated (she didn't get that from me), and that is trying to snap her fingers when we do. Very cute!! Yes, she is the Queen of Cuteness! Although at times she is more like a Drama Diva, but I'm praying its just a stage.
Well, on to Itty Bitty (baby #2). Went to the doctor last week for a referral to go to PT for back pain, Itty Bitty is growing well, still very active for the cameras. Dr. Grey had to do another sonogram to get the heartbeat, apparently the Doppler can't pick up the heartbeat until after 12 weeks or something. Starting to look more like a baby instead of a legume now. Which is always a plus, I would rather have a child instead of a vegetable. :-)
Momma is still exhausted all the time, counting down to the end of the first trimester so I will actually have some energy! And all the running around after Gracie I do, I'm losing roughly a half a pound a week instead of gaining, but I'm SURE it will catch up with me eventually.
Alex and I also mutually decided on names for Itty Bitty. I mean, we had Zachary Christian pick out for a little boy, but was drawing a blank for another little blessing wearing pink. Sooo..after much debate and head scratching, we came up with Katlyn Elizabeth, Lizzie for short. I felt Kate was too old and Alex didn't want it to be confusing to have 2 Katie's in the family so we are gonna follow precident from Gracie and call her Lizzie, that is IF Itty Bitty is a girl. I'm really pulling for Zachary but only God knows and Itty Bitty will be loved to pieces no matter what color they are wearing.
I guess I have rambled on quite enough. Love to All!!
Charity
