Zachary is here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Zachary Christian Roper arrived this morning at 6:40. He weighed 7lb 3.2oz and was 20 1/4 in long. Charity and I think he looks like his big sister but time will tell. He caused some excitement because he decided to come before the doctor could even get into the room, so the nurse that was taking care of Charity delivered him. He is healthy with all correct body parts.

I found this one on the internal memory of the camera, I have no idea when it was taken but wow, what a difference.

Gracie pic and Zachary update

Here's a pic of Gracie I took this morning hamming it up for the camera. She's getting so big, she seems to be learning something new everyday and her vocabulary is just exploding. Her favorite foods now seem to be apples, "gapes" and "naners". At least I don't have to fight to get fruit in her like I do with vegetables. The only time I can get her to eat veggies is raw with dip. Speaking of dip she likes salsa and chips also.
Well, we are playing the waiting game for Zachary. I'm almost 36 weeks pregnant and Gracie was born at 37 weeks. I'm hoping he comes early, I can't get any bigger. I don't think is physically possible at this point. I'll have to get Alex to post a belly pic for proof. I did go to the doctor last tuesday for my check-up and Doc checked me out, dilation is starting to happen already so maybe will have a baby before Halloween. We will certainly keep everyone posted.
I should go now since its Gracie's naptime and she is getting evil. Love to All - Charity

Ready for church and looking all grown up.

I'm wondering where my baby went.

Sweet Tooth

She definitely has her Daddy's sweet tooth. He made brownies and she helped get rid of the evidence.

Cooking...I think

Zachary update and various ramblings

We went back to the doctor today for a check-up...they did another sonogram to make sure everything is where its supposed to be for the birth. Dr. Eisemann said everything looked good and that Zachary was looking good. So unless there is a problem that presents during labor, there is no surgery in my immediate future. He took these two pictures after I asked if Zachary was still a boy. One is pretty obvious but the other is a side shot of his face according to the doctor. Personally I don't see it but I'll take his word for it. I do know for certain that he definitely running out of room in there! Not only do I get kicked in the ribs and punched in bladder at the same time, there is just wasn't any space to be found in the sonogram pictures, it was all baby!! Alex & I was talking while we were waiting for the doctor to come in, that when we were pregnant with Gracie at this point we had no idea that she would be here so soon. Of course, if Zachary follows in her shoes we only have about 6 weeks before he makes his appearance. Between you and I, I don't know if I'm ready or not!!

Laundry Day

I had washed all of her blankies and when they came out of the dryer she didn't even want to wait until I had gotten them out of the basket. She eventually tipped it over on the cat though.

Playing Dress Up in Mommy's shoes

She actually walked from the bedroom to the living room in them and then back again.

Going down the big slide

The slide was wet with dew from the morning still and they went down a little faster than expected. Hence the reason the second shot is only of Alex's head.

Playing at the playground with Daddy

Sliding

She wouldn't go up the stairs to actually slide down the slide but was climbing up the slide and then sliding down about 2 feet.

Swinging at the Park

She loves to swing, if you go to take her out, she fusses. Alex taught her to hold both of her hands up in the air this past weekend.

Hanging out by the water

She still wasn't all that excited about the water even though it was relatively calm. And yes that is me in the the last picture not a small heifer. At the rate things are going Zachary is going to be one big baby.
