Swinging at the Park

She loves to swing, if you go to take her out, she fusses. Alex taught her to hold both of her hands up in the air this past weekend.

Hanging out by the water

She still wasn't all that excited about the water even though it was relatively calm. And yes that is me in the the last picture not a small heifer. At the rate things are going Zachary is going to be one big baby.

Amazing move.

In the picture in the distance down by the wall sticking out in the water is the ring of stones the lighthouse used to sit on. They moved the lighthouse in 1999 2900 feet in 23 days. WOW!

Gracie and Grammy from the top of the lighthouse.

Wes called Mary Hellen on the her cell phone so they would stop so I could get a picture of her and Gracie. The second "better" picture is from the third or fourth landing from the bottom on our way down.

Aren't we cute?

The view from the top of the lighthouse.

The four of us at the lighthouse.

The inside of the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse.

It is 257 steps to the top. My legs felt every step. It reminded me just how out of shape I am.

The lightouse on Cape Hatteras.

Pushing the stroller

Gracie didn't want to ride in the stroller she wanted to push it.

Playing on the beach at the Outer Banks, NC.

We tried to get Gracie to put her feet in the water but she wouldn't and curled her feet up so that they wouldn't touch the water. She didn't like the way the wet sand felt on her feet either. The ring of stones in the first picture is the old site where the lighthouse stood before they moved it. It's really close to the shoreline. Just a sand dune away from being in the water.
